The town of Elma holds a free outdoor concert series on Wednesday evening during July & August. A few weeks ago, we went when Ricky Lee was performing.
About an hour into the concert, it started raining. At first, it was a light refreshing rain and since we were sitting under a tree we didn't get too wet.
But then it turned into a downpour!! We tried to sit it out for a while and take "cover" under our picnic blanket but ended up getting completely soaked... We were laughing pretty hard and had fun getting soaked on the way to our car.
But, even though we decided to leave, the show went on... Ricky Lee didn't let a little rain stop him!! He takes the meaning of "Singin' In The Rain" to a whole new level!
