You yourselves are God's Temple

I'm apologize for not updating the past couple of weeks. It seems whenever life gets busy, blogging tends to take a back seat, even though I do not want that to happen.

Saturday, December 4th was the 4th night of the Feast of Dedication:

Blessed are you, Lord our God, King of the Universe, who has given to us holidays, customs and seasons for gladness and for the glory of

Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord,

the light of the world.

We reflected on 1 Corinthians 3:16 and 1 Corinthians 6:19, which both tell us that we are God's temple... God's spirit lives within our own bodies, He is in our hearts and in our Spirits.

"Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst?"

1 Corinthians 3:16

"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?"

1 Corinthians 6:19

These are significant verses because they tell us that we no longer need to go to the Temple to worship God, as was required before Jesus. They tell us that God lives inside us now! When we are united with Jesus, God gives us the gift of the Holy Spirit...  and He is in us!
