The concept for my new blog stems from my years of experience and background in youth program development. I am regularly contacted by friends (and even friends of friends) who "pick my brain" for ideas, suggestions and advice on activities in the area. So, after receiving feedback from several moms that I know, I have decided to create a blog dedicated to family-friendly activities, events and restaurants in the Western New York area. A Mom Named Mindy will also contain craft ideas, recipes, family deals, and resources for Youth Group Leaders and Christian families.
