We like to get really messy when we play. I'm definitely not one of those parents who insists on keeping things clean all of the time... How would that even be fun for kids?!
Children love to create, explore, experience texture, try new things - and all of that involves, what some would call, messy!
So, if raising a child who appreciates art is synonymous with messy.. then so be it. At least we will have a creative... ehem messy... child who has learned collectively with his head, heart, and hands :)
