Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.

Ice cream!

One of the most simple & delicious pleasures of summertime... ice cream!

Pool time fun!

A summer stroll

A summer stroll through the Japanese Gardens, behind the Buffalo & Erie Co. Historical Society Museum.

BPO @ Delaware Park

Every summer the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra plays concerts throughout the WNY. We went to their "Summer In The Parks" opening concert at Delaware Park. It was a gorgeous night, and "I" really enjoyed listening to the music (and snacking on strawberries).

4th of July Picnic

Almost every year, Terry's parents have a 4th of July picnic at their house. My parents & brother also come over for the day; it's really nice to have both sides of our families together for holidays! Terry & I are very blessed to say that our families get along well, and enjoy each other's company... something that is (sadly) very rare these days! We are so thankful that our holidays can be spent with all of our family members together!

There is always a plethora of terrific food at the 4th of July picnic. And, this year Mike had fireworks!!

What a goof!

4th of July Morning

In the spirit of Independence Day, I made red & blue pancakes for breakfast that day.

That morning while "I" and "dada" played in the sandbox, I picked black raspberries in our yard... I love that most of our yard is boarded by wild black raspberry & raspberry bushes!

I dyed the pancake batter blue, and also topped them with strawberries! A super yummy (and fun) breakfast!!

The dilapidated back portion of our shed is gone!! It was pretty unsafe and a hazard so we had it removed a few weeks ago.
It looks a lot different, and so much better!
