The day after we painted our terra-cotta pots, we planted seeds in them: yellow squash and cantaloupe, to be exact - two of Bean's favorite things!
He enjoyed getting his hands dirty and squishing the seeds into the soil. They're now sitting on my kitchen window sill in the sun... and have grown quite a bit! We water and check on them every day!
